New minimum wage rates apply from 15 June 2025

Hotel, restaurant and catering industry

Wage provisions

  • NOK 142.58 up to 17 years
  • NOK 152.08 at 17 years
  • NOK 166.34 at 18 years
• NOK 204.79 starting wage for workers over 20 years / after 4 months’ practice over 18 years

Wage deduction for company-provided accommodation

• NOK 675.67 per month for a single room
• NOK 439.46 per month for a double room

Cleaning industry

Wage provisions

• NOK 185.55 for young workers under 18 years
• NOK 236.54 for workers over 18 years

Construction industry

Wage provisions

• NOK 162.44 for young workers under 18 years
• NOK 264.32 for skilled workers
• NOK 239.61 for unskilled workers with no industry experience
• NOK 249.00 for unskilled workers with at least one year of industry experience

Agriculture and horticulture industry

Wage provisions

• holiday and harvest assistance
  • NOK 142.90 under 18 years
  • NOK 162.90 over 18 years as a beginner up to and including 12 weeks’ seniority
  • NOK 168.40 over 18 years beyond 12 weeks up to 6 months’ seniority
• permanent employees
  • NOK 182.80 for unskilled workers
  • NOK 152.40 under 18 years
